Hardwearing:
Wool and woolrich carpets are extremely hard wearing. Well constructed
products ensure that carpets wear well, keep their good looks longer
and are easier to maintain. The result is longer lifecycle costs,
so a carpet that needs replacement less often uses less raw materials,
creates less waste and is therefore better for the environment.
Acoustics: Carpets not only absorb airborne
noise but they also reduce impact noise at the source. The heavier the carpet
the better impact they have on sound insulation.
Thermal insulation:
The superior thermal insulation properties offered by wool carpets result in the
burning of less raw materials to maintain the comfort of the occupants of the
building. Wool and wool rich carpets increase the sense of comfort as it reduces
heat loss from the body to the floor by radiation and by contact with the feet.
